請首次蒞臨敝診所的朋友盡量抽時間細閱：

Below are some essential guidelines regarding consultations. If this is your first visit, please take a moment to read through them carefully:

 

1. 甚麼是銘德中醫？你們的宗旨是甚麼？

* 銘德中醫，顧名思義，就是要銘記「德」是醫術的根本。對於我們而言，身與心、德與術的全人醫治是我們的最終追求。所以謂行醫載道，德術並彰。

1. What is Ming Tak TCM? What is your mission?

• The name "Ming Tak" (銘德) implies upholding "Virtue" (德) as the foundation of medical practice. For us, the ultimate goal is holistic healing that integrates body, mind, virtue, and medical skill. We believe in practicing medicine with integrity, where virtue and skill shine together.

 

2. 醫師有最擅長治療的疾病嗎？

* 在中醫的範疇中，我們將人看作一個多層次多角度的整體，每一個部分皆環環相扣，互相影響。因此，中醫就是一個全科醫學，醫師是一位全科中醫師，除了骨折、某部分危急重症等需要各類特別治療器材的病症外，一般都能辨證治療。

2. Does the practitioner specialize in treating specific diseases?

• In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the human body is viewed as a multi-layered, interconnected whole. Therefore, TCM is a general practice. Our physician is a general practitioner who treats patients based on syndrome differentiation (Bian Zheng). Aside from conditions requiring specialized equipment (such as bone fractures or certain critical emergencies), we can generally treat a wide range of ailments.

 

3. 診所的收費如何？

    * 內服中藥（藥粉）

    *       診金$200，$90/劑（十一歲或以下小童$50/劑）

    * 針灸/或配合手法治療

    *       $500/次（含$200 診金）

3. What are the consultation fees?

• Internal Herbal Medicine (Herbal Powder/Granules)

  • Consultation Fee: $200

  • Herbal Cost: $90 / dose

  • Children (aged 11 or under): $50 / dose

• Acupuncture / with Manual Therapy

  • $500 / session​ (Consultation fee of $200 included)

 

4. 中藥有甚麼副作用嗎？

* 一般而言，中藥是沒有任何副作用的。因為中醫治病的原則，始終是重在平衡人體。

* 但必須強調，因應疾病的輕重程度不一，在某些疾病痊癒的過程中，會出現各種各樣因身體自愈力提升而顯現的症狀。此時也不必擔心，一般而言，醫師會一早告訴了你有相應狀況的可能。如果有甚麼問題需要諮詢，也可致電診所，醫師會盡力解答。

4. Are there any side effects from taking Chinese herbal medicine?

• Generally, Chinese herbal medicine has no side effects, as its principle focuses on balancing the body’s systems.

• However, it is important to note that during the healing process, as the body's self-recovery ability improves, various symptoms may surface. Please do not be alarmed; your physician will typically inform you of these possibilities in advance. If you have any concerns, please feel free to call us, and the physician will do their best to answer your questions.

5. 中藥藥粉沖劑，會否比傳統湯藥效用低？

* 藥粉其實也是經過煎煮後濃縮的中藥，因此藥效差距並不會太大。

* 但請緊記，實際上決定療效的，是醫師開出的處方是否貼近病情，而並非藥材本身。

 

5. Is the efficacy of herbal powder/granules lower than traditional herbal soup?

• Herbal powders are concentrated extracts made after decoction, so the difference in efficacy is minimal.

• Please remember that the actual determinant of therapeutic effect is whether the physician’s prescription accurately matches your condition, rather than the form of the herb itself.

6. 小孩能否服用中藥？

* 只要該小孩不特別抗拒服藥的話，一般都能像成人一樣治療，只是藥量就需要相應調整；

6. Can children take Chinese medicine?

• As long as the child does not have a strong aversion to taking medicine, they can generally be treated like adults; the dosage will simply be adjusted accordingly.
